What skills and experience we're looking for
The Curriculum Leader will be responsible for and provide professional leadership and managementfor the Business and Computing Department in order to secure high-quality teaching and learning, effective use of resources, monitoring and tracking information to improve standards and achievements for all students.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Business and Enterprise and Computing. Atpresent, the position encompasses a timetable made up of predominantly Business Studies and Enterprise teaching with some Computing and is an ideal role for those looking to broaden their current leadership experience.
We are therefore looking for a highly effective teacher and inspirational leader who embracescreativity and is passionate about teaching to enable our students to succeed. On joining our school, the successful candidate will lead our committed and dedicated Business and Computing team. As part of the team, they will be expected to meet the teacher standards at all times to provide an exciting and inspiring learning experience for our young people. In addition, they should be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school. The Academy has high expectations of all its staff.
