We wish to appoint a committed, well-qualified and highly effective Head of Business Studies and Economics. The successful candidate must be able to teach Business Studies to GCSE and A Level. The ability to teach Economics to A Level is desirable.
St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College is part of Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of 5 secondary schools and 32 primary schools from across Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland, in the west of the Diocese. The Trust will expand further and reach a total of 48 schools by 2022.

We are a voluntary aided 11-18 mixed Catholic comprehensive school with over 1,600 students on roll. The school serves the Catholic parishes in Washington, Birtley, Penshaw, Houghton and Hetton. It is situated in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
