What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting leadership opportunity in our Chemistry department starting September 2025, and we invite both full-time and part-time candidates to apply.

As the Head of Chemistry, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Science to enhance the curriculum for Key Stage 3 to 5, ensuring that it is tailored to student needs. In addition to curriculum development, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving students' academic performance in Chemistry to meet the targets set by the Academy, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting best practices among the teaching staff.

Ideal applicants will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for inspiring students, and the ability to enhance our Chemistry curriculum—experience with A Level teaching is preferred, but those with GCSE experience eager to expand their skills are also welcomed.
