Ivy Learning Trust is a group of 16 primary schools in Enfield and Hertfordshire dedicated to giving children the best possible education. At Ivy, we make it easier to make a difference: easier to learn, easier to teach and easier to lead.

We are looking for a Head of Communications to join our central team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead Ivy’s communications and marketing function, developing and delivering impactful strategies, building on the strong reputation of the Trust and schools, and driving community engagement.

This is an exciting senior role for an ambitious communications professional who thrives on making a difference. Line managing a Marketing and Communications Officer, you will oversee content and campaigns, marketing, digital engagement and media activity for our Trust and schools. We are a small team and there is a hands-on element to this role as well as a strategic one.

We’re looking for an experienced communicator with a proven track record of creating and delivering high-impact communications and media campaigns, ideally in the education or non-profit sector. You will be professional, organised and approachable, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders within and outside the Trust.

This role is hybrid, with one day working in our head office in North London, and regular travel to schools. We welcome conversations about flexible working.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the voice and profile of our Trust and schools. If you would like to have an informal chat about this role, please contact Natasha Boydell at natasha@ivylearningtrust.org.
