What skills and experience we're looking for
- Provide professional leadership of Computer Science curriculum, establishing a culture of high expectations in which high quality teaching leads to excellent progress outcomes for students.
- Provide professional leadership of the Computer Science department that ensures the effective use of resources and raises the standards of teaching and learning within the Department.
- Provide professional leadership of the Computer Science department, ensuring non- specialists have the required materials and resources to deliver the KS3 curriculum to a high standard
What the school offers its staff
At UCC Computer Science is taught from two large, modern air conditioned classrooms, renovated in 2021. Each computer suite houses 32 Stone desk tops and a printer. Impero software allows for remote access onto students individual computers and also allows teaching to be broadcast to all computers for demonstration purposes etc. Both rooms are also fitted with fully interactive Smart Boards and projectors.
