Head of Creative Faculty job summary

We are looking for a Head of Faculty within the Creative department who is either an outstanding teacher of Design Technology, Electronics, Music, Graphics, Textiles, Art or Performing Arts to start in January 2020. Motivation, positivity and energy is required from a teacher who can demonstrate commitment and a genuine desire to improve outcomes for our students, along with a passion for their subject. The Head of faculty will be supported by their SLT link . The successful candidate will need to have strong classroom and behaviour management skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes. The faculty rotates across Textiles, Food, Art and Resistant Materials and is part of the Creative Faculty which encompasses the Arts and Design subjects. Our curriculum is designed to be well-balanced and inclusive, allowing all students to maximise their potential and there are lots of opportunities to be involved in a range of extra-curricular activities.
