WCSA is seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to guide our Religious Studies department into the future, starting with us for the Summer Term (or as soon as possible thereafter). A willingness to teach and lead GCSE sociology alongside RS would be desirable. Sociology is a popular option subject at WCSA and sits alongside the other Humanities subjects that we offer.
As Head of Religious Studies, you will shape an engaging curriculum that fosters critical thinking, empathy, and interfaith understanding. You’ll work within a dedicated team of Humanities specialists ensuring our students gain a nuanced understanding of global faith traditions and ethical frameworks.
The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher with a deep knowledge of religious studies, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to nurturing inclusive, meaningful dialogue.
