Cromwell Community College, a member of the Active Learning Trust, is a good school which aspires to be outstanding. Our Design and Technology Department is a driving force towards this aspiration.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational teacher to lead the successful and supportive Design and Technology team at Cromwell Community College. Design and Technology at Cromwell is successful with vibrant numbers at both GCSE and A-Level. Pupils thoroughly enjoy their lessons and staff are hardworking, enthusiastic and committed.
We are a popular, growing and successful school. More recently we have become an all-through school and have pupils on site aged 4-18 years. It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum, which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell. This will require the Head of Technology to develop a vision for an all through curriculum and to work with Primary phase colleagues to meet this expectation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and wants to work collaboratively with the primary phase in addition to further develop the Design and Technology curriculum.
At Cromwell, our middle leaders are determined, resourceful and tireless in their pursuit of the best outcomes for all pupils. If you are enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate about Design and Technology and recognise its importance for the development of all pupils, and will strive to provide excellent results in our already successful department, we would like to hear from you.
We can offer you an excellent opportunity for career progression both within the college, and the Trust, as well as a supportive professional environment with a highly visible and ambitious leadership team.
If you wish to discover more about this exciting opportunity, then please contact Caroline Buckle - cbuckle@cromwell.cambs.sch.uk
