Contract: Maternity Cover- Full Time
Salary: MPS/UPS + fringe (£34398 - £52490) plus TLR for Subject Lead
Start Date: February 2026
Responsible To: Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to provide Maternity Cover as part of our successful and student centred team. If you are looking to develop and stretch your teaching of Drama while working in an established and supportive department with students who are willing to push themselves and create exciting work, then this is the post for you.

We require an innovative teacher to join our hard working and supportive Drama department. The department has a tradition of excellent exam results, creative and popular productions and a high uptake at GCSE and A level, with many students going on to study Drama at university and Drama School. The Drama department is an exciting place to work and the students are well motivated and ready to learn.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Qualified to deliver Drama across Key Stages 3 - 5

  • A well qualified individual with a degree in a Drama based subject.

  • An excellent communicator who is able to meet deadlines.

  • A reflective practitioner who is willing to take an active role in the extracurricular life of the department and the wider life of the school.
