What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a Head of Design Technology to lead our thriving DT department. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement a high-quality DT curriculum that excites and engages students
  • Lead and support a team of passionate DT teachers to drive outstanding outcomes
  • Inspire students with your enthusiasm and expertise in hands-on learning
  • Play a key role in the life of the school, fostering a love for DT across all year groups
  • Work alongside the Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust teams to lead the development of the DT curriculum across the Trust

Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 - 17 set in its own 60 acre site in the Quantocks, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities which are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 320 students of which 130 are boarders. The school is currently expanding and this is an exciting time in Brymore’s development.
