About You:

Caister Academy are seeking an ambitious and inspirational English specialist to lead our English Department and help drive outstanding outcomes for our students. You will bring enthusiasm, vision and a genuine love of English, inspiring students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication. As a leader, you will foster a positive and supportive team culture, champion high-quality teaching and learning, and play a key role in shaping the continued success of the academy.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Proven record as a teacher whose pupils reach high standards of learning and achievement
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and intellectual development of teenagers
  • Ability to lead a team, effectively communicating a vision, in order to get the best out of staff and pupils
  • Effective behaviour management strategies
