Head of Estates job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to maintain and develop our school sites to enable us to provide an excellent working and learning environment for our pupils and staff. This is an exciting time to join our team as Cavendish School is part of the DfE School Rebuilding Programme which involves the redevelopment of our sports centre.
The successful candidate will:
- manage site staff across all school sites and be a team player who is supportive of
- colleagues and needs to be flexible regarding working hours where necessary
- be the lead on trust projects including the planning and development to enhance our premises
- across the trust’s schools
- be a hands on leader, which will involve office based work, working directly with contractors and
- being able to carry out day to day premises tasks.
- ensure that all statutory and compliance requirements are met across the schools in accordance
- with strategic plans and Health and Safety
- be an excellent communicator and negotiator as the role will be liaising with school staff and
- contractors
As a full time position you will receive an annual leave entitlement per year and you will join a team of dedicated and hard-working staff.
