Head of Expressive Arts job summary

The role of the Faculty Lead of Expressive Arts is to strategically lead the faculty in raising standards of teaching and learning and achievement. We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated middle leader to work on the strengths of the departments and steer their growth. We are keen to see the departments showcased across the school and the curriculum developed to cater for all. The Head of Expressive Arts will be responsible for the following areas: Drama, Music, Dance and Art. The successful postholder will continue the transformational journey to ensure the best for everyone, the best from everyone.

Reporting to, and supported by a member of senior leadership, the Head of Expressive Arts will be responsible for curriculum intent and implementation, student outcomes and achievement in the faculty.

The Head of Expressive Arts will be a successful and experienced person able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent leadership and communication skills in his/her present role.
