What skills and experience we're looking for
We require a Head of Mathematics Faculty for September 2025 or January 2026. The successful candidate will be an energetic and inspirational classroom practitioner who can lead our Mathematics Faculty team. Considerable experience in the area of Mathematics is essential.
The successful candidate:
will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning in Mathematics
will be an effective classroom practitioner committed to raising standards for all students
will be able to teach Mathematics to Key Stages 3, 4 and knowledge of Key Stage 5
will be fully committed to enabling all students to achieve well and make good progress
the drive and determination to motivate colleagues and students
a creative and energetic approach to teaching and management
the ability to lead and develop a team of teachers
good organisational skills
the vision to develop the courses currently offered
open to change, new ideas and innovation.
