Head of Faculty: Science job summary

The Science Department at the school is successful and continuing to improve each year. We currently offer separate GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics to 120 students each year and Sixth Form Science is very popular with multiple groups for Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and talented Scientist to lead the Science Faculty and we have no preference over subject specialism. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire the team whilst demonstrating excellent classroom practice. The faculty is friendly, enthusiastic and has a committed team of specialist staff including Associate Heads of Faculty for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. There are 13 fully equipped laboratories with science technicians and a Curriculum Associate.
