St Paul’s is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Science to lead our excellent team from January 2023. The successful candidate will oversee the running of the Science Faculty and be responsible for leading the strategic development of the faculty.
St Paul’s is a thriving and successful 11-18 Catholic School, with 1140 students from a variety of backgrounds and faiths. It was judged good at its last inspection with Sixth form being outstanding. St Paul’s is ambitious for its students and staff and the school has continued to improve in all areas since the 2018 inspection. Ofsted described the school as “inclusive and caring” and students as “polite, caring and helpful.”

To be our ideal candidate you will:
- be excited and ready to lead your own faculty
- be an outstanding practitioner with a proven record of successful outcomes
- have the vision and leadership skills to grow and develop a science department
- be up-to-date with the latest research on effective teaching in Science
- have experience of teaching at KS4 and preferably KS5
- be ambitious and collaborative with a willingness to lead within the CMAT
