The Head of Geography will be a successful and experienced teacher in their subject specialism, able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children, generating a love for learning. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated excellent leadership, management and communication skills in their present role High standards, strong teamwork and a capacity for hard work will have been at the core of their success. They will be a creative thinker with an ability and determination to secure high-quality outcomes for all students. They will have an up-to-date understanding of pedagogical, attendance and behavioural research and theory and will have evidence of using this to improve their own practice, and the practice of others. The academy has entered an exciting time in its development and this role forms part of the next steps on the journey to excellence.
