Head of Geography job summary

The Trust seeking to appoint an exceptional Geography Teacher and leader to the post of Head of Geography. You will join a very experienced and strong team of middle leaders who have contributed to a rapid rise in outcomes across the Trust. You will demonstrate a passion for the subject and have a clear vision for outstanding provision of Geography.

We welcome applications from middle leaders with a strong track record leading a department, as well as those who have other leadership experience or experienced teachers ready for their next challenge. Wootton Academy Trust is committed to supporting colleagues as they take the next exciting step in their career.

The role will include teaching GCSE and A level, providing leadership and management of staff, developing enrichment opportunities for learners and demonstrating the ability and commitment to securing high standards of learner achievement.

The current team of Geography Teachers are all specialists and there is a strong track record of success at both GCSE and A Level.
