What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the Languages and Culture Faculty in either German, and to monitor and support student progress.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • To keep up to date with national developments in subject areas and teaching practice and methodology.
  • Ensure continuity and progression by supporting colleagues in choosing the appropriate sequence of teaching and teaching methods and setting clear learning objectives through an agreed scheme of work, developed in line with the school improvement plan.
  • Monitor KS4 achievement and progress across the faculty to ensure that underachieving students are identified and appropriate intervention is implemented.
