Head of History (Beulah Hill Campus) job summary

Harris Academy South Norwood is looking to appoint an experienced, qualified teacher to join its team of specialists as Head of History.

Your opportunity

Due to reorganisation with the Academy into two distinct sites with their own character and identity, applicants will work at one of the two sites with minimal to no travel between them. The Head of History role will be based at our Beulah Hill campus.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a creative and dynamic teacher who will be able to show leadership in the development of the History curriculum at Key Stages three, four and five.

Strong subject knowledge and being able to teach up to and including A-level is essential, and you must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree. The appointed candidate will be well supported by an excellent induction programme and access to excellent facilities for teaching and learning.
