Head of History (TLR 2c) job summary
We are looking to appoint a highly capable and inspirational Head of History to lead a successful and well-resourced History Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding History teacher seeking to step into Middle Leadership or an experienced Head of History looking for a new challenge.
History at Toynbee is an extremely popular and successful subject, with consistently strong results. You would be leading a department who are committed to delivering a diverse, rigorous and engaging curriculum that aims to inspire all pupils and encourage intellectual curiosity.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management; they will be able to inspire both pupils and colleagues with their outstanding and engaging teaching and leadership.
