The role:

Are you a proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive individual? If so, Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School may have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking to appoint a Head of House PA to provide vital pastoral and administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of House, playing a key part in delivering day-to-day clerical assistance.

At Dame Elizabeth Cadbury, our pupils are part of one of four Houses – Durham, Exeter, Warwick, or York. Every pupil is assigned to a House upon joining the school to ensure they receive dedicated pastoral care. The Heads of Houses serve as the main point of contact for parents and carers, making strong administrative support essential to the success of the role.

Key responsibilities include making first day absence calls, attending parental meetings to take minutes, and maintaining up-to-date pupil records.

About you:
To be successful for this role you should:

  • Have at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths;

  • Be experienced in working in similar administrative roles;

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong IT skills;

  • Have the ability to handle highly confidential information.
