What skills and experience we're looking for

  • A subject relevant degree PGCE/QTS or equivalent
  • Excellent working knowledge of the History and/or Geography and/or RE National Curriculum
  • Expert subject knowledge of the subject specialism the candidate is trained to teach in, and their relevant exam boards
  • A track record of excellent student outcomes in the candidate's subject specialism
  • Experience of working with children who have English as an Additional Language
  • The ability to reflect on your own practice and welcome professional development
  • Respect for and willingness to promote the school’s ethos and values
