Head of Humanities Main Pay Range/Upper Pay Range + TLR 1A (£14,030) Full Time Required: September 2021 We are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Head of Humanities to join us in September 2021. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing teaching across History, Geography, Social Sciences and Religious Studies. You will be looking for an opportunity to enhance your career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop your pedagogy and practice as the leader of a high performing team. Experience of teaching a Humanities discipline across the full range of KS3-5 is desirable. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile leader with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the future direction and success of the Humanities department and the Academy as a whole. The post would suit experienced teachers, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.
