The Arthur Terry School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and inspirational Head of Humanities to lead a highly successful and committed department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and leader to drive outstanding outcomes across Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Humanities faculty
  • Inspire, motivate and develop a team of dedicated teachers
  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
  • Ensure excellent student progress and achievement across all key stages
  • Promote a culture of curiosity, critical thinking and global awareness
