This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful and inclusive school and make a difference to the lives of children. Working with the Head of School and senior colleagues, the successful candidate will be responsible for securing effective teaching and learning and ensuring all children have access to all curriculum areas with appropriate support. You will lead and manage our Learning Support Team and develop, implement and review transition strategies to support pupil achievement.
You will have excellent leadership qualities and possess the energy and enthusiasm which is necessary to maintain and build on the existing outstanding practice in the school, achieving the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
What the school offers its staff
Prendergast Primary School is part of Prendergast Ladywell School, an all-through school from EYFS to Year 11. The primary phase benefits from a purpose built primary building, as well as a stunning outdoor space which includes specifically designed play areas for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as the school's own Nature Reserve. The school is fortunate to be one of the only primary schools in Lewisham to have its own Teaching Kitchen classroom.
