About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Inclusion to lead our SEND provision and champion inclusive education at Heron Hall Academy. We are proud of our commitment to ensuring every pupil, regardless of need, can thrive and reach their full potential. In this key leadership role, you’ll shape and deliver our inclusive vision, leading a dedicated SEND team and working closely with pupils, staff, families and external professionals. You’ll oversee ambitious, compassionate provision aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking leadership team and make a lasting impact in a diverse, supportive school community, driving strong outcomes for some of our most vulnerable learners.

What are we looking for

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader with QTS and NASENCO, proven in leading SEND provision in a secondary setting. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and national inclusion developments, with experience shaping whole-school SEND strategies to improve outcomes. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with a strategic vision and commitment to inclusive education for all learners.
