Head of Inclusion job summary

To progress the trust's vision and purpose, we are looking to appoint an individual capable of leading inclusion across all 22 of our academies within Coventry and Warwickshire. This newly created role presents a rare and exciting opportunity for an outstanding leader with a proven track record to influence our academies’ practice at scale, strengthening leadership capacity, and making a profound impact on outcomes for children and young people. This role will be instrumental in ensuring we live out our Christian vison of ‘Life in all its Fullness’ for all.

Working within the central education team, the post holder will lead our strategic approach to inclusion. The role's remit is focussed on leading on SEND, Disadvantaged and EAL across our Trust, ensuring that provision is consistently strong across all our academies. This will be delivered by the post holder championing inclusive, adaptive teaching and curriculum as the foundation of support for all learners.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with a proven track record of leading and improving inclusive practice, particularly in relation to SEND, disadvantaged pupils/students and vulnerable groups. Experience of working with external agencies such as local authorities, health, social care and educational psychology is essential. Equally important is a personal commitment and passion for improving the life chances of all children and young people.
