  • Salary Grade: Teachers’ Pay Scale (Inner London) plus TLR 1.1 allowance of £17,212 per annum  
  • Reporting to: Principal/Senior Leadership Team Link
  • Commencing: September 2026

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Maths & computing to join our successful Mathematics and Computing Cluster commencing September 2026.

 The Head of Maths & Computing at Burntwood School provides strategic leadership across the Maths and Computing Cluster, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement from Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form. The role combines curriculum oversight, staff development and performance monitoring with a strong focus on raising attainment, driving innovation and embedding consistent assessment practices across both departments. The successful candidate will have the previous experience necessary to fulfil such a role and a relevant degree.
