About the role

The purpose of this role is to lead the development of the mathematics faculty throughout the academy, ensuring all maths teachers are supported and all students are able to complete lessons and activities successfully. The role also involves being an exceptional maths teacher (and tutor) who supports and challenges all students to achieve their full potential with their subject. The faculty also delivers statistics as a subject at key stage 4 so this will fall within the remit of the Head of Maths.

This is a full time, permanent position, to become part of the wider leadership team as a key middle leader in the academy.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a dynamic leader, with energy and commitment, to lead this core faculty, to continue the rapid improvements in outcomes of recent years. The successful candidate will have experience as a successful maths teacher, with proven outcomes at GCSE. We would welcome applications from existing middle or senior leaders, as well as from those seeking their first leadership position following a highly successful period in the classroom, showing impact over time.
