We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of MFL to join our school in September 2026. We are looking to appoint a talented professional with very good subject knowledge and a clear understanding of effective and engaging teaching and learning to lead our capable and supportive department. At The Crestwood School, we highly value personal attributes of hard work, positivity and kindness, and we are looking for staff who can model these values.

 

The successful candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can build on current developments within the school and Trust, to continue to improve outcomes and raise aspirations for all students..

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.

Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community. Through our teaching and pastoral care we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning. We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them.
