Head of Modern Foreign Languages job summary

Starting 1st September 2021 we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Modern Foreign Languages to lead our languages department and play a key role in promoting the development of languages across the college. We are seeking an individual with excellent knowledge and understanding of modern foreign languages and the ability to teach French and Spanish to KS4, with the ability to teach French to KS5 being desirable (but not essential); you will have a passion for creativity and a sense of responsibility to lead the department forward, developing both a thriving department and curriculum. This position would suit an enthusiastic languages teacher who is looking for their first position of additional responsibility, or a current head of department looking to expand their knowledge and skills.
