What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a talented and highly motivated leader who will relish the chance to lead this successful and committed department. As a member of our Performing Arts faculty, you will be instrumental in developing the music curriculum so that it reflects the aspirations and diversity of our community, as well as inspiring students through your classroom practice. Committed to ‘bringing out the gift’ in every student, you will continue to develop our extra-curricular provision, including our nationally renowned steep pan band, choirs and orchestra.

Keen to build upon our existing examination successes, you will have a bold and ambitious vision of what our students can achieve. Your excellent subject knowledge and innovative classroom practice will help to inspire our students with your own love of learning. You will be committed to leading, developing and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at Key Stages 3 and 4 and will enjoy the challenge of ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential.
