What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint an innovative and dynamic Head of Physical Education to drive forward standards. The person appointed will have a clear vision of how to maintain and build upon high standards within the department and will be expected to teach across the whole ability range, this includes Core PE (KS3 and 4), GCSE PE (KS4) and BTEC Sport (KS4 and 5).

This is an exciting time to join us. We are currently working with local partners to deliver a substantial renovation to our sports facilities which will help PE to deliver a top-class provision.

The post is full-time and permanent. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a committed team of staff and will contribute to teaching within the Department. We would welcome applications from experienced specialists who want to broaden their expertise and excel in this middle leadership position.

At this stage we are welcoming applications from teachers of both boys and girls PE.
