Role: Head of Physical & Arts Education

  • Full time/Part time: Full Time
  • Salary Grade: Teachers’ Pay Scale (Inner London) plus TLR 1.2 allowance of £12,515 per annum  
  • Reporting to: Principal/Senior Leadership Team Link
  • Commencing: September 2026

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed, enthusiastic and experienced team leader to lead the Performing Arts Education cluster which includes Dance, Music, Drama and PE. We warmly welcome applications from all qualified candidates across the full range of physical and arts education specialisms. While we particularly value experience in Drama- and in developing Drama within a wider Performing Arts Curriculum- we would be delighted to hear from applicants with diverse strengths and passions.

The Head of Cluster will lead a dedicated group of staff to develop new approaches to deliver an exciting, ambitious and challenging curriculum that stimulates students to achieve their best.

Our school achieves excellent GCSE, BTEC and A level results with large numbers of students going on to university. The successful applicant will build on the successes of the Performing Arts cluster area and ensure that students continue to thrive in the subjects and are confidently prepared for the next stage of education.
