Head of Psychology job summary

To join our team in September 2021, we are seeking a forward thinking and innovative Head of Psychology ready to lead a strong team. Beauchamp College is an outstanding secondary school based in south Leicestershire and is a popular provider of A Level psychology.

The department currently consists of two teachers who work closely together to deliver great student outcomes at Key Stage 5. Psychology is a hugely popular course that is only taught at Key Stage 5. There is dedicated faculties for this department and the small but well established team work effectively together to ensure our students succeed in this subject.

We are looking to appoint someone who can lead by example, is an excellent and enthusiastic teacher and is confident they are able to deliver high quality lessons. The desire to share good practice with the team and a can-do attitude is essential. We want a head of department dedicated to educating students in the wonderful subject of psychology, a person who is inspired and inspires.
