The Ellesmere Port C of E College is looking to appoint a Head of Religious Studies who will work closely with Senior Leadership and colleagues throughout the department and College, to drive continuing improvement in students’ progress, as well as the quality of Teaching and Learning within Religious Studies.
Your role will involve developing best practice in Teaching and Learning within Religious Studies. You should be innovative and willing to lead on a number of initiatives whilst working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in Religious Studies across all Key Stages. You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for the future.
You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next step in your career. You will be passionate about Teaching and Learning and developing pedagogical approaches that inspire learners. The ability to be a highly successful team player in a very busy and fast-paced environment is essential. You will have the capacity and energy to drive improvement, to lead by example and to develop collaboration within the department.
