Head of School (Maternity cover) job summary
The First Federation Trust is seeking to appoint a Head of School for Willowbank Primary (NOR: 246 ; Age range 2-11) to cover maternity leave from April 2026 to December 2026 initially. This post is 0.8 with flexibility on the days to be worked. The school is located in the mid Devon town of Cullompton which has good links to the M5. The Head of School is the educational leader of the school whose core focus is the quality of teaching and learning and works within a highly supportive leadership structure. Willowbank collaborates between schools in the Trust, which has a significant impact on teaching and learning and school improvement.
We are looking for an exceptional teacher and leader with a real desire to be involved in school improvement; someone who wants to make a difference for children, hone and develop their leadership skills and work in a distributed leadership system. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing Multi Academy Trust.
