Head of School - Mendlesham job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious leader to join our forward thinking school and support us on our journey to outstanding. As an exceptional classroom practitioner, you will have significant experience of teaching across the age and ability range and proven success at upper Key Stage 2 will be an advantage. This role enables the successful candidate to develop their classroom practice further with a 60% teaching commitment, as well as providing the opportunity to gain experience and have a significant impact on leading school improvement within the structure of a multi-academy trust.

We are a small rural primary school with over 110 children, from both our catchment area – Mendlesham and Mendlesham Green and from the wider area. We are very lucky at Mendlesham Primary School, through our close links to the community, we have extensive facilities and grounds available to the school. We have access to a very large playing field as well as a substantial school hall which is fully equipped for PE lessons.
We are committed to providing a high quality and stimulating curriculum, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to meet their full potential both socially and academically.
