Pakefield opened as a new school serving Lowestoft in September 2011. The impressive facilities are second-to-none and provide an excellent learning environment. The School’s PAN (Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 180 students per year with an overall capacity for 900 students.

We aim to provide excellent teaching and learning, enabling all students to achieve the highest standards. Not only in their academic education, but in their personal development, behaviour and conduct. This is achieved through a broad and rich curriculum providing opportunity, challenge and support. Pakefield has developed a key strength in promoting strong relationships with staff and students, which embeds an impressive strategic plan enabling students to understand their own role in their community and raises their aspirations for the future.

An extensive extra-curricular provision helps to develop individual interests and talents through academic, cultural and sporting experiences. High-quality pastoral care and guidance supports students so that they develop in to mature, responsible and thoughtful young adults.
