Head of School Support job summary

Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust is a West Midlands based multi-academy trust committed to providing high quality education for all the children in our schools through collaboration, challenge and targeted support.

Our purpose of ensuring high quality education is delivered through shared best practice across our family of schools combined with support from our central team, set within a Christian ethos.

We are looking to appoint a new Head of School Support to our innovative and forward thinking team to our Central Team based in central Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have -

  • 2 years + experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Single Central Record compliance
  • A Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification and experience
  • Experience in leading on school governance
  • Confidence in communicating with stakeholders

This role is pivotal and key responsibilities will include -

  • Safeguarding
  • Governance
  • DPO, GDPR and data handling
  • Website Compliance
  • Visiting schools across the Trust to provide support to Headteachers
