About

This is an exciting time to join our friendly community school, which is part of Excalibur Academies Trust. The school roll has grown, and our students make every day worthwhile. Our values of ‘Ambition’, ‘Care’ and ‘Courage’ are at the heart of everything that we do and apply to both students and staff. John O’Gaunt is a rewarding place to work and truly has a family feel.

Additionally, we offer:

  • Generous relocation package
  • Teachers' Pension Scheme
  • Employee Assistance Scheme, as part of a strong wellbeing programme
  • Career development opportunities within school and across the Trust
  • Strong Professional Development based on individual needs
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Flexible Family Friendly Policies
  • Excellent resources and facilities - the department has full technician support

This starts from the moment you join with a comprehensive onboarding programme, management support and wide ranging CPD opportunities.

We reserve the right to appoint before the deadline if appropriate so would encourage early applications.
