What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, skilled individual to lead our strong Science Department, one of the biggest teams in a large school. This post has become available following the promotion to senior leadership of the current post holder. The Science Department has a high profile and a reputation for innovation and driving standards within the school and wider trust. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with autonomy to deliver ambitious outcomes. You will be an accomplished teacher, passionate about the achievement of all students. You will work with a dedicated team and have access to a wide range of excellent development opportunities through the teaching school, the Trust’s research school and through the links we make with the 32 schools in the Trust.

That report show that very substantial progress has been made since the report published in 2019. We are looking for a determined, highly effective Head of Science to join us as we enter a new and exciting phase of the school’s development.Prospective candidates are warmly invited to visit the school.
