Salary: Leadership Pay Scale (Outer London L6 to L10) plus Teachers Pension Scheme Scheme

Hours: Full time

Contract: Fixed Term (maternity cover) / Secondments will be considered.

We’re looking for a passionate, engaging and innovative Head of Sixth Form for maternity cover to bring our team to the next level. This is the perfect time to join our team – we are well on the way to becoming an outstanding faculty, with consistently improving results and 33% A* at A level.

You will have a passion for learning together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students. Our students really enjoy their English lessons, and they make excellent progress. The Oasis Hadley Sixth Form is an exceptionally high performing part of the academy, offering a broad and ambitious curriculum that includes a wide range of A Level and Level 3 BTEC courses.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Monitoring and supporting the academic progress, attendance and behaviour of students in the Oasis Sixth Form

• Taking responsibility for Sixth Form students

• Working with Sixth Form teachers to support individual students in removing barriers to learning so that all Sixth Form students achieve their potential.

• Working with the Careers and Enrichment Leader to develop a programme of activities that will develop students’ personal, social and emotional development.
