What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint an innovative and dynamic Head of Social Science to drive forward standards in Social Science (Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Health & Social Care). The person appointed will have a clear vision of how to maintain and build upon high standards with the department. Health and Social Care is taught at GCSE and Key Stage 5, Psychology, Sociology and Criminology are popular A ‘level subjects.

The post is full-time and permanent. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a committed team of staff and will contribute to the teaching of all subjects within the Department. We would welcome applications from Social Science specialists who want to broaden their expertise and excel in this middle leadership position.
