Head of Sociology job summary

We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious individual to become the next Head of Sociology at Farlingaye. You will be leading a popular and successful Sociology department with very strong uptake at GCSE, excellent outcomes, and a committed team of talented and experienced teachers.

The Sociology department is ready for another dynamic leader with the vision and energy to further strengthen the curriculum, build on existing success and take the subject forward in exciting new direction. As Head of Sociology you will provide strategic leadership across key stages 4 & 5, shaping and re-invigorating the curriculum, championing innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and relentlessly driving up standards and outcomes for every student.
