Head of Technology Faculty job summary

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and outstanding Head of Technology to lead our hardworking, highly experienced and supportive Technology Faculty. The Technology Faculty is a crucial stage of its development at Bungay High School and we are looking for an individual to drive it forwards to further success.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, and a specialist in Resistant Materials or Food Technology. As part of this role, they will also lead the subject that they specialise in. We are ideally looking for the individual to have the potential to teach at all key stages, although we are happy to provide training to support the successful applicant to develop in the areas that they may not currently have experience in. We are delighted and proud of what our students achieve in Technology. Results have been impressive across the Faculty, and consistently above the national average in recent years at GCSE and A level. The Technology Faculty consists of Resistant Materials, Food Technology, Textiles, Art and Graphics with each subject lead by a Subject Leader.
