Trinity C of E School is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Technology and CEIAG Lead to provide strategic leadership across our Technology curriculum and oversee the development and delivery of our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning, student achievement and ensuring that every young person is equipped with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to succeed in their future education, employment and career pathways.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum and Departmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction and high standards across Product Design, Food & Nutrition, and Health & Social Care, supporting colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.

Student Achievement: Monitor and evaluate student performance data across all key stages, identifying priorities and implementing effective interventions to secure strong progress and excellent outcomes, including external examinations.

CEIAG Leadership: Lead and develop a comprehensive, inclusive careers programme, ensuring the school continues to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks and maintains the Quality in Careers Standard.

External Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop effective relationships with external agencies and partners, including Prospects and Shaw Trust, to coordinate work experience, service-level agreements and destinations data. Work closely with SEND colleagues and careers advisers to ensure students receive appropriate individual guidance and support, including annual reviews.

Wider School Leadership: Contribute positively to the wider leadership and development of the school, supporting our distinctive Christian ethos, values and community life.
