Specific responsibilities
To lead and manage the Technology and ICT Faculty
To line manage the second in Faculty
To lead teaching and learning in the Faculty
To lead subject staff to implement the Faculty TAAP plan
To plan, prepare and teach a range of Technology subjects and ICT across the full age range and abilities
To assess, record and report on students' work and progress
To design and have responsibility for the faculty schemes of work
To update schemes of work within the faculty
To contribute to the departmental and whole school policies on literacy and numeracy
To represent the faculty at the TAAP meetings
To represent the faculty at curriculum and other meetings
To work with the SLT link to continue to raise standards within the department
To undertake Faculty Self-Review
Tasks
To improve outcomes at KS3 and KS4
To develop the Technology and ICT curriculum at both KS3 and KS4
To continue work on target setting for students
To continue developing schemes of work in line with the new national curriculum orders
To review and develop the assessment policy
To use and develop ICT within the curriculum and for administration purpose
