This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to positively impact upon our youngsters in this vibrant and dynamic school.
Salary: S Salary: Salary Scale D (Point 20-26) - £32,597 (pro rata £29,319) - £37,280 (pro rata £33,531) depending on experience.
Contact: 3 Contract: 37 hours a week (Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30 - 4.00pm), 41 weeks per year (including inset days)

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and talented practitioner who is committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our young people. We are looking for an inspirational individual with enthusiasm, sensitivity, resilience, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate young people and families. We are seeking a candidate who is interested in working in a supportive and progressive inclusion team, who prioritise on improving young people’s life chances. This role is all about building positive relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and co-ordinating a team of Year Tutors
- Promoting positive behaviour and excellent attendance of all students within a specified year group
- Co-ordinating a case load of students who are vulnerable to not making the required amount of progress
- Ensuring student progress through effective discipline, conduct, monitoring, target setting and intervention
- Responsibility for maintaining high standards of behaviour, uniform, attendance and puntuality
- Developing effective working partnerships with teachers, parents, senior leadership, outside agencies
